Camping table and chair combo please....
Due to the great fun that 3 out of the 4 members of the family had the first time we went camping in the Kielder Forest, apparently we are going again, weather depending, next weekend
So as the title says looking for an inexpensive lightweight, foldaway table and chairs combo for 4...thanks "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Not sure what its called but most caravan/camping outlets are selling a lightweight aluminium folding table with seats connected. About £30.00.

Have had an Outwell one for years and is still going strong. Think there about £80 but it is worth it.

I've got a Concord folding table and chair set, strong red resin plastic (uv resistant) and aluminium, seats 4. Can photograph tomorrow, too dark now. Used but really good condition. Not modern flimsy lightweight rubbish.
Could deliver to Edinburgh next Friday evening if close enough or this week-end somewhere south Borders.
Looking for £50.

Try " Go Outdoors" you can check stock, view, order on line and even have items delivered.
They tend to have a good range of equipment from the cheap up to the more expensive and you can even go to your nearest store and check it out before buying.
I purchased one of thier discount cards (£5 I think) and its saved me a fortune over the past year.
Worth a look. !
btw taking the wife on her first proper camping trip next weekend to the lakes, I"m just deciding how I explain that she won't need her hairdryer. :following:
Cheers Phil.

Phil,
You could have picked a warmer time of year to introduce the Mrs to camping.
Still just tell her it's all for the kids.
Your spot on , I keep telling her to enjoy it , and its probably the last cheap break we will have this year as any later and I think it will be too cold for camping for her and my 10 year old step daughter.
It wont stop me going to the camping weekend in October that DiscoDunc has arranged though
Even "Archie" our choccy Lab iis in on the act, its going to be fun 2 adults, 2 kids and the dog all in one tent.
