That's what my wife has planned for us in Kielder next week

Phil,
The only reason we went to a tintent was so we can use it all year as it does get a bit cold in winter for camping, as you well know.
I recall -12 in Buxton @ 2am when we were there.
Can't beat camping with the kids, they love it.
May see you at the meet, will have to see how work pans out that week.

Cheers Andy...as far as I am concerned camping is the work of the Devil Himself......but the kids love it and the wife is "embracing" it with the help of my wallet......

Yeah tell me about it. But I've found by buying quality you tend to get something that lasts. And the £5 Go Outdoors discount card comes in very handy.
Spent a few nights wild camping not being able to sleep it was that cold. Just adds to the fun

I've just realised Ian,that's the 4x4 safari weekend...should we be booking the campsite now ? ....
