Hi, which route did you go, I'm looking going from Dunkirk- Belguim - Luxemburg, Germany (overnight Stuttgard) then onto Italy, looking around Lake Como ?

Hi All
We're looking at booking a trip to Fornella next Summer and am looking for some advice about the area as we haven't visited Garda before with the tin tent.
Firstly, is it close to any ferry stops and/or bus stops for routes around the lake? Just wondering how useful the public transport will be!
Also, we might want to visit Verona and Venice by train but have heard mixed reports about the security at the station car parks at Desenzano and Peschiera such that the site has arranged taxis to the station for some reviewers of the site on the web. Not sure if that is just general paranoia or there is a genuine problem!
