Just noticed that when in camera mode the voice control is inactive. Anyone else noticed this  Is this normal

Hi Adrian yeah the surround cams  have to come out of cam mode to make a phone call via a voice tag etc

mine seems ok
in camera mode and try voice control ..ok
in camera mode and i ring somebody ...jumps out of camera mode and goes to phone screen ..all working
proberly a software clitch ...try it again after car has gone to sleep G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Noticed it a couple times. The voice button on the steering wheel is totally inactive when in cam mode. I have to come out of cam mode by hitting any hard key on dash and voice mode then works fine. Wonder if its another my12 clitch like the poi issue a while back ..

I can confirm the same on my MY12, when cameras are on and showing on the screen the phone buttons do not work and the voice activation does not work. 
Me thinks it is time for an e mail to Liam to see what can be done with the MY12 info system as it is very slow and full of small annoying glitches. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I had the same problem with the MY12 - Very slow and a software reflash didn't make much difference either. Small consolation but the MY13 is SOOO much better. There is hope and as the system appears to be identical I am sure a software fix must be doable. Over to Liam as you say My17 Volvo XC90 Inscription

Thanks Russ, yeah all these cliches are just not good enough for a vehicle of this caliber and price. I agree we should all push for a my13 software upgrade I will mail Liam and get the ball rolling
