cam belt and oil pump

Hi gang can any body tell me the labour cost to replace the above ? i have all the parts just looking for a reasonable labour estimate of cost D3 55 plate (not rear cam belt ) I have had a quote off one place near me but just what to see if hes in the same ball park as i think its a bit on the high side.

Hi,

My local garage quoted me about £500 in labour, but I didnt get it done so cant say for sure. Hardware and others recommend Land Ranger Services who I think are in Stockport.

4 hours is a reasonable allowance to replace an oil pump

Finding a garage willingness to take on the liability of fitting customer supplied parts however, is another matter... My D3 Build Thread

2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Java BlackDiscovery 3

Mine is going in next week for both and been quoted around £850 with around 6 hours labour. That’s including the revised oil pump.
