Thanks Andy
I actually had that one bookmarked I was looking for a route to the back via the chassis . I know internally makes more sense but am looking at alternatives

mine runs from the engine bay, down the LHS of the car across the TOP/INSIDE of the chassis rail to an anderson connector in the bumper - no photos I'm afraid.Duncan

no the cables werent sleeved but they were BIG, about 20mm diameter with very thick walls, not sure about the mm2 but rated at 300amps I beleive. whatever they were they were enough to jumop start the car or run my rear 9000lbs winch
just make sure you attach them properly or this happens :

also make sure you can isolate the +ve so you can switch the power of if the above does happenDuncan

Hi Wex,
No pic, unfortunately, but it is fairly straightforward.
From the 2nd battery position, I dropped the cable (6 or 8 b&s, whichever is the larger) down in front of the firewall.
From underneath the D3, you will readily see a wiring loom running along the chassis rail. I attached the cable to this using cable ties, being careful to route it away from the exhaust and the harmonic dampers.
I used the grommet behind the N/S tail light assembly to enter the rear of the D3.
