Has anybody else who has rear air noticed a 3mm or more gap between the roof lining and the C pillar trim on the passenger side?
My dealer agreed that the aircon conduit in the trim has distorted it such that it is wider and shorter thus leaving a gap at the top. He has replaced it once and reckons there is no point in trying again as they will all be the same. I know its a Land rover but I would have thought an unneccssary blunder in design which is a shame because the rest of the trim is ok
I just wonder how big that gap will be when the trim loosens up with age. Or may be the roof lining will sag and decrease it!
Do you reckon I should ask LRA to pay for an upholsterer to provide a fix? EPQR is done

I just checked mine and there's no gap. The dealer's answer sounds dodgy to me, but I'm no expert. Have a nice day!

On my first car, there was a gap similar to the one you describe. You couldn't notice it from the inside of the car, but from the outside you could clearly see the Air-Bag though the load area side window.
The dealer replaced it, after a failed attempt to heat it and 'remould' it.
