Take a look at the support section/ documents and you'll find the downloadable manual. It will show you that the tool is a very capable piece of kit.2011 MY D4 HSE

I will try again
Can it also do:
Ecu remap: BAS only or Alive too? Yep, but you need to buy it
Egr patch: definitely remove the eml permanently? I think you need to pay for patch
Transfer box: reset/ calibrate ? It will Calibrate sensor position and clutches
Gearbox: reset / calibrate? It will Reset adaptions, need to purchase California stop
California stop?
Suspension: activate tight tolerance mode? Yes
Alter normal ride height? Not sure
Top Display: activate 4 wheel suspension screen ? Not sure
Update sat nav ?
Any other things it can do too would be interesting
Thanks[/quote]

I may be wrong on auto recalibration, if you buy a New GAP IId tool, i think it comes with the latest auto calibration.
I did the MY07 upgrade and when I checked the list of firmware for systems (print out/email) it showed I had the latest firmware for the automatic transmission.

The California stop is when u slow down and then put ur foot back on the gas u can sometimes feel slack , the update helps to reduce it
Is a £25 software update through the gap iid fast lane service , pay online then u update ur iid via a laptop online, then load the software into ur disco
U can also adjust the normal ride height but the access and off road height will also be different , either lower or higher according to what u set ur normal ride height at
Hope that helps

If you connect your GAP tool and press ECU info, and you find auto transmission and it says "latest version" then you have the latest software for auto transmission, paying $25 pound for the so called califiornan stop ECU flash, is a waste of time, as you have the latest.
