Bushes and track rod arms
I am posting this because mine seem to have magically repaired themselves since my last service! My D3 has just returned from its annual service with no advisories, this is remarkable because last year the LR dealer recommended front bushes and track rod arm needed replacing and the LR dealer even called me up 6 months later to remind me that they needed doing. How many other customers have they tried this with, I feel like it is a scam!

Ah there are good dealers and there are stealers, it get confusing when they change side without warning!

Trouble is DSL, having had Land Rovers for many years now we have sampled the delights of all the garages in our area main dealer or otherwise and have not found a good one yet

A "Holy Grail" I did query it and they got a bit shirty saying that another technician serviced it this year and "everybody has different opinions", what sort of an answer is that?

Had my track rod arms done at my last service (45K) under warranty by Hatfeilds on the dock road in Liverpool. Used them quite a bit now and must say am very pleased. Not fussed with Volvo V50 as a loaner though. Anyone else any experience with them.

I had an advisory from the LR main dealer last year and past this info to my indie this week who rubbed his hands with glea at all the the extra work.
On picking the car up from its 6th annual service, including 4 wheel align, MOT and flexible brake lines replaced (all for a little over £440 inc vat) a rather forlorn but highly professional service chap explained that all track rods and bushes were actually fine and muttered something about his kids going hungry.
