Hi Jonesy,
My time is my own, so I'm happy to leave it up to youse time-poor folk to decide. Would July be better (it's got an extra day )?

Opposite locks one a a straight copy of the ARB. But I would prefer to go with theirs as they were quicker to sort the fitting issues.
ECB do one but it looks like you just drove through a locked gate. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Almost, they have cleaned it up in some areas to make the lines a lot cleaner for a neater fit, I spoke to Graeme about the supposed copyright issue rumours that were going about and in a thick Scotish accent I assure you that's no the case
We are going with the OL bar and also the OL wheel carrier and 80l longrange tank, makes it cheaper and more convenient to do it all at the one place.

Are there big difference in price and quality between ARB, TJM and OL?
After experiencing the suicidal Roos near TAMWORTH few times, the BB is A must item for my D3.
Thanks,
Ed

Hi Ed
I had an ARB steel bull bar fitted and the son in law has tested it on my behalf. He hit a roo at 130kph while heading to Darwin (yes thats the speed limit). Hit on the drivers side of the bb but did not damage any part of the D3. The bar itself has a dent but nothing substantial. It has paid for itself already. Went ARB only because they were near me in Sydney and liked the look of their bull bar. The vehicle is now in the NT and so happy that it has the protection. Take the road less traveled. Dual battery system.ORS drawers,LR cargo Barrier.ARB Bull bar, side protection bars,Mickey Thompson ATR's 17" rims, Rear wheel carrier, radiator guard TPMS Mitchell Bros Tow Hitch LR RAI Steel Rims , GME UHF, Off Road GPS, Llams (yet to be fitted)

Hi Wayne,
Thanks for sharing your experience.
The ARB is top of my list but dearer than others.
Do you know if the landrover snorkel is not water tight?
It looks good but someone said that not water tight connection.
Thanks,
Ed

Hi Ed
No it is not watertight, thats why LR refer to it as a raised air intake. You can make it watertight by replacing/sealing some of the intake pipes. It is covered somewhere on the forum just do a search. Take the road less traveled. Hi Ed,
The ARB and OL bars are very similar in build quality. Some difference in price (the OL is usually cheaper, but depends on your local retailers).
Don't know about the TJM.

Thanks Gordon,
ARB and OL BB looks very similar but price is quite much different.
I wasn't sure of the quality of OL but with your advise I will see OL BB for my D3.
Thanks for your advise.
