Any advice on who manufactures the best bull bars for a Disco4 V8? I had the ARB on my D3 and was very happy but are there any alternatives that you aussies can recommend?

I am shopping for same currently. Note that ARB make a BB for D4 however, the v8 and HSE are excluded. They are also intending to make a Safari bar version but the programme has been continually bumped by more pressing market needs. Alternatively ECB make an alloy bar for the D4 range. TJM do not have a D4 BB in their programme.
hope this helps..................frank R. my10D4se3Ltdv6 current

Not sure why V8 Bull bar would be different to the TDV6? I have the V8 HSE....so no ARB for me. I checked on the ECB site and their bull bar looks pretty nice but a bit pricey at $2500! Plus shipment to SA.....maybe ask a S15 rugby player to add to his luggage!

Well the bull bar just paid for itself. Son in Law murdered a kangaroo and had only slight dent in bull bar which I will get to inspect next month when I have a week in Darwin. Might even fit the Llams system that I bought in Singapore, over a couple of beers. Another thing the wife wont notice, I hope!! Take the road less traveled. Dual battery system.ORS drawers,LR cargo Barrier.ARB Bull bar, side protection bars,Mickey Thompson ATR's 17" rims, Rear wheel carrier, radiator guard TPMS Mitchell Bros Tow Hitch LR RAI Steel Rims , GME UHF, Off Road GPS, Llams (yet to be fitted)

Installing LLAMS over a few beers could be dangerous . A few tight spots you need to get into. Some accurate drilling required. 06 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.

Hi Wayne,
It sounds like you're giving your SIL too much latitude with your D3! I hate to think what condition you'll find it it
Perhaps he should get his own.

SIL was a real Toyota man. His dad has a prado, never seen any off road. But since driving the D3 is a well and truely a LR man now. Daughter says she cant get him out of it and asks her "do you think your dad would sell it to me". Might have to if he keeps killing animals and Toyota Corolla's.

Hi Wayne,
It sounds like its gone for good.
BTW, I'll pick you up at the airport for the pub lunch. Then again, maybe we should all meet at Raffles.
Best Wishes,

Did someone mention "Pub"? “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Pete plenty of places to drink over here. Wife and I went to Club St for pre dinner drinks last night before an authentic chinese meal in a 150 year old former temple. This is all in the name of research for when Jonesy gets up here in September. Only problem drinking is expensive in Singapore, each bottle of wine has $10 tax on it and 2 beers in bar will cost you about $28. Think I might introduce Jen to rice wine
Might take you up on a pub lunch in December, could be home for a week Take the road less traveled.
