The 55w are crap, I am wanting to go to 100w. Is this OK.....also what bulb type please  D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

The bulbs are H1.
I'm not sure you'll see much benefit from upgrading. Have a read of this: Topic #15349
