:censored: - It's done it again!

Turned key in ignition this morning and was greeted by the dreaded Parking Brake Fault message Censored Censored Censored

Haven't used the car since returning form the Eddie Izzard gig in Newcastle late Friday night and it was fine then so Censored knows what's gone wrong this time. It wouldn't release when I pressed the switch (that just gave me steady amber and flashing red lights on the dash) but the drive-away release function worked ( Question Question ) so was at least able to get to work. Am frightened to touch the EPB switch now in case it decides to seize on.

It did something similar in March but then, it wouldn't work at all, including drive-away release. That was caused by a broken wire in the cable loom. Ah well, will have to book in in to the stealers and get them to look at it I suppose Big Cry

I dont use mine either, i find a brick lodged behind the wheel works just as well. I am in the process of designing a quick release system using some string and a 'granny' knot. Very Happy
