Brodit ProClip for Land Rover Discovery 3
Has anyone got one of these?
I want to mount a mini tripod for a small DVD camera, (without drilling the dash), and wondered if this bracket would be any good?Arctic Frost Discovery 3 TDV6 SE, Active Rear Diff, Adaptive Head Lights, Tow Pack, Ebony Leather, Roof Rails, Mantec Guard. Tasmod Stainless Sill plates. Grabber AT's. Home made mud flaps. Side Steps back on until the next time.

Re: Brodit ProClip for Land Rover Discovery 3
I have three in my DII and whilst they are excellent for SatNav and similar they would not be sturdy enough for a Video Camera never mind the fact that they would be in the wrong position, too low.Darren Griffin

I have all three types of Brodit clips in my D3. How do you want to use these for mounting a camcorder then?
I have both the clips for the dash and the headrest brackets for rear DVD screens. The Brodit dash clips are extremely easy to fit (10 seconds) and very good quality. Much better than the metal Dashmount clips.
