Brake pad check light and warning just come on in my D3. Anybody got any idea how many Ks (or miles) I've got before I'm down to the metal? I know it depends on how i drive it but some idea would be good. 2.7 D4 eDiff, Traxide Dual battery, Safari Snorkel...Opposite Lock winch bar..extra set 17" wheels with 245/70/17 BFG KM2 MTs..Warrior winch..Long range tank.

It happened to me a month ago while offroading in the mountains 230 kms away from Athens. Did all driving back (mainly motorway but crowded on a Sunday evening) plus another 15 Kms in town to reach the dealer with no problem.
Used command shift all the time to take advantage of engine braking (and mine is an auto TDV6), kept safe distances from other vehicles and applied brakes lightly. When changed they still had some life in them.
Suggest however to visit the dealer asap as Land Rover recommends.
