Just checked with my dealer. Was done 2 weeks ago together with the 100.000 km service. The older I get, the better I was.

Many thanks for the heads up....rang the dealer up about 5 months ago as pedal felt a bit spongy, but was told it was outside the VIN range, rang up this morning and they've booked it in for next Tuesday

What are they doing exactly. Had my 05 D3 in at Ripon a few monthes ago to check for oil in the servo. No oil found but they managed to break the plastic housing where the second battery sits, was not inpressed. I fitted the mod vacuum pipe anyhow. So would anything else be done ???

Even with no oil in servo they should fit the modified pipe as yher is probably oil in the pipe.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

From a Jargon-less Newbie -
what is the special significance of "MY" as in "MY2005 D3" written in the 1st Posting in this Thread?
Thanks

Model Year = MY
A 2006 model year is normally built in the second half of 2005 onwards etc

It is only for the TDV6 I believe the V8 is not affected?
Mine was in a few weeks ago for a free maintenance inspection, and no outstanding issue were brought up. So just want to be sure.Roel

Petrols don't need a vacuum pump as there is enough vacuum at idle from the inlet manifold.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
