I have the MY11, new in DEC10, and have squeals galore reversing out of the garage. I had the first service about 4 weeks ago and they chamfered the brake pads but I still get the noise. It goes away if you give the brakes a quick stab but, unfortunately, I have to wait unitil the roof has cleared the garage door (I only have a couple of mm in access height) so the neighbours have to put up with an early alarm call. At least the snooze option is 24 hours !!
FWIW, if it's wet or I've washed the car, I always leave the EPB off which minimises the problems - the garage floor is level. 2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT

Mine squeak whilst reversing so 2009 calipers for mine please, and they can stay there!
My 2010 model does it too.
