My brake pad warning light has come on today. Normally I would just do the obvious but.. it is behaving a little strange, kepps flashing on and off really fast as I go over bumps, then getting that annoying beep every 5-6 seconds with the brake pad text on the info screen, is there a chance it could just be a malfunction with the sender? Every other car Ive had with these warnings fitted beep when the pads are getting down, then shut up untill you turn the engine on or off. Also I have only done about 1800miles since I got the car (they serviced it before hand over)
Is this normal behaviour for the warning lights and tone?

Sounds like you have a faulty break pad sensor on one of your stoppers.
Bring her to your dealer .. only a small Job IMO .
Enjoy the caning ....

pulled the wires on mine, probably a stick. Check your pads are still ok and separate the wires and put insulating tape round them. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
