Just started a new tradition. Hunting every nook and cranny in the house and garage for a pressie meant for SWMBO. I hid it. Too well obviously. Not only have I forgotten where I put it, I forgot I had it. After opening the presents yesterday, an event that takes an extended period interspersed with drinks she says, "was there not something else?" She's like that. Tries to catch me out. Eventually she told me I had bought a bag of golf balls as a pressie. "Balls!" I said. That didn't help matters. I don't know where the are. Hidden and, at 2pm on Boxing Day, they are as yet not found. I'm in deep I apologised and asked her to remember the Christmas spirit. That made matters worse as she blames the Christmas spirit.....too much of it.
I solved that problem this year - I bought what I wanted and gave it to her to wrap and she bought her own and wrapped that as well. Mark.

Sounds like a plan for next year. I redeemed myself yesterday by finding the missing golf balls. Later I found something else I had forgotten I'd got for her. Got some brownie points for that. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.
