Normally spent at the parents with my brother and his family but all changed this year as we are expecting our first child in about 10 days Shocked

Sat with the dog between us as SWMBO is the size of a house, filling our faces with cold meats.

She knows revenge, like cold meats, is a dish best served cold. Or at 3am when little 'un is after attention. Laughing Laughing

Just started a new tradition. Hunting every nook and cranny in the house and garage for a pressie meant for SWMBO. I hid it. Too well obviously. Not only have I forgotten where I put it, I forgot I had it. Big Cry After opening the presents yesterday, an event that takes an extended period interspersed with drinks she says, "was there not something else?" She's like that. Tries to catch me out. Eventually she told me I had bought a bag of golf balls as a pressie. "Balls!" I said. That didn't help matters. I don't know where the Censored are. Hidden and, at 2pm on Boxing Day, they are as yet not found. I'm in deep Censored I apologised and asked her to remember the Christmas spirit. That made matters worse as she blames the Christmas spirit.....too much of it. Rolling with laughter

I solved that problem this year - I bought what I wanted and gave it to her to wrap and she bought her own and wrapped that as well. Thumbs Up

Sounds like a plan for next year. Thumbs Up I redeemed myself yesterday by finding the missing golf balls. Later I found something else I had forgotten I'd got for her. Got some brownie points for that. Thumbs Up
