Which bottle jack.
So still getting to grips with the new Disco 3. Todays head scratcher is wheel changing. I will go under tomorrow to locate the jacking points. I am only talking emergency jacking at this point.
I have been reading that the scissor jack supplied is not fit for purpose, and that I should carry a bottle jack instead.
So any ideas which type of bottle jack is correct for the emergency wheel change scenario ?1955 SWB Series 1 86 inch

I bought a Mercedes sprinter jack off eBay. I did the simple mod to remove the "saddle" and replace with 2 large square washers with slightly widened holes (used a step drill).
Tested it out and it all seems fine, I left the car on the jack for about hour and it didn't drop.
Ill try to take a picky tomorrow as im working on the car a bit.Disco 3: Lotus Elise S1: Ferguson T20: Audi A2
