Bonnet catch bolt replacing…

The thread on this nut has collapsed so the bolt can’t hold tight.
What are my options?
I think I’ll just drill through and used a nyloc nut and bolt instead?
Thoughts?

Thanks
Ben

I had the exact same thing this week, drilled it out and put in an m6 Helicoil and bolt.

Not sure what the original is, it’s a course thread.
