Bluetooth and phone name on display
I have seen a couple of D3 which have the phone name displayed on the screen aswell as signal strenght and battery meter. I also had a 08 on loan last year and it came up with my phone name when i paired , and showed it each time i selected the telephone button.
So question is , do any of you have this showing , if so what phone and what year car .
My new ones an 08 and it dosent display any of the above , i have not changed my phone since the loaner , but have done various software upgrades on it .
Or maybee i should just go and flash the latest software on the car and see if it apears .G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

i have an 06 and last year had a new 08 bluetooth module so I could download the phone book
I only get the name on the screen not the number. I dont get signal strength , nor do i get battery meter.Duncan

i use a Blackberry 8320, a Nokia 3109c and Samsung something or other (Janes phone) - same result with each phoneDuncan

Mine is the same too, 08.5 my and Blackberry phone.
I have a 06, with the blue tooth upgrade I get the names with my Sony Ericsson and numbers with the Samsung Tocco but no strength meter.

MY09 + iPhone 3GS, I get signal strength and network name on the stereo display, and the name of the caller / callee on the dash

I'm using a Sony Ericsson P1i and no signal, battery or network shown in radio or center display, though sometimes i've noticed the number coming up on the dash center display.ATB
