Hi, having a bit of trouble with having to renter the code every time I use the car. The phone is a Sony c902, on LR list and on all other bluetooth devices it uses I only enter it once and they work every time.
Loving my new car...
Oh yes, does hill decent work in reverse?

It's a setting on your phone normally.
and yes, if its switched on HDC works in reverse and in Neutral  Bodsys Brake Bible

Thanks, when I use the phone with my pc, it gives me an option but not with the "Landrover" device.

Don't know the Sony but on my Blackberry once you have aired the phone with the car you have to set it as 'trusted' on the Blackberry, that way it auto connects each time... Errr, ummm, maybe...oh bo**ocks, just do it !

My 06 Disco 3 has started needing the passcode entered each time the car is unlocked also. It does it with a Motorola phone and an HTC touch HD. It used to work perfectly with all phones. So i think it is a fault with the car's bluetooth. Anythoughts from anyone would be welcome. Local dealer tried a software upgrade but it would not take it. Can the units be reset?

If you're in warranty, then they should change the unit if they can't get the software to update.
Strange that it now does it on both phones, which leads to believe it;s the module anyway.
If it coiuld be re-set, I'm sure that they'd have tried it? I'm not aware of it, only flash updated. Bodsys Brake Bible

It's possibel that Member & Site Sponsor Wiggs could re-flash it, but I think it would say that it would be at your risk as it's already failed by a Dealer. He can get possibly a later version flashed on that a dealer couldn't.
Or it could be that you have some other kind of fault with the box that that won't fix.
