| MOST Bluetooth module from connects 2 |
|
Hi all, been searching the internet for various things for the D3 and came across this MOST BT interface from Connects 2

Has any one fitted one or had any dealings with them??
What parts are used for the Landrover Kit as my D3 has nothing for the Phone side of things.

Tryed a connects 2 video connector which was supposed to give you an extra icon on the touch screen ...never worked 
The latest LR PTI kit is basically a module which connects in the most system .
I retrofited one and i just got the module and a very hard to find most connector ( and small fiber optic cable ) . a few power leads and a couple of earths . Activated it with the faultmate kit and bingo ..fully working and phonebook through the stereo . G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

i have emailed them for details, any idea on price for the landrover kit as i'm looking for factory fit or aftermarket.

You can forget the aftermarket kit as they have stopped making the main bluetooth modules ( ignore the ones on ebay as they dont come with the bluetooth module )
They were about £380 odd for the complete kit .
PTI module ...three options .
Brand new (over £300)
Recondition ( about £220)
Recondition with exchange module ( about £160 )
All them are with 20% forum discount from Nick ...but i would check latest prices as that just from memory .
As i said the hardest bit is the most connector and extra lenght of most cable .
Wiring up very easy ...connect the lives together ...connect to a live . Connect the earths up and connect to a earth . Enable and away you go .
I would also suggest doing the voice control while your at it , although you can use it with just the phone buttons ...oh yeh you will need them aswell for the steering wheel ...(i already had them fitted ) G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Cheers Wiggs,
very helpful and worth considering, is the voice control the same as the sat nav voice control module as i have that already.
I'll have to speak to Nick and maybe yourself regarding activation.
Just one question,my D3 is the 2004 addition so the pti may not have been an option then, will this make a difference?

Voice control is the same 
Dont think LR can activate the PTI kit ( but worth checking with Nick )
Cant see why it wont work on a 2004 , once its connected into the most bus and activated should be fine . G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I had to beg one from BBS spy ...he had a couple for personal use ....but after much pleading i managed to wangle one .
Searched high and low on internet , but no luck . There made by Tyco G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
