Have just bought the wife a new mobile, & reading through the instructions it states " your phone's bluetooth features and Bluetooth Class 1 power levels are not allowed for outdoor operation in France. To avoid unlawful interference with radio signals, do NOT use the the bluetooth features in france unless you are indoors".
I have never come across this before & obviously I will ignore this, as I do most things connected with the french, but does it include using the bluetooth connection in the D3? I know the range of the D3's bluetooth is quite large so I assume it is prohibited.
I know we have some members living in France, & wonder if they have come across this. never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly

When I asked a French bar owner what impact the smoking ban would have on his business he responded "I will have to put up some signs". I think that pretty much sums up the French approach to most inconvient regulations, which is probably why they enjoy passing them in the European parliament so much. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Also a reason why the French have a better attitude towards life too  If its a silly law / regulation and no one else minds... they ignore it. Inc the authorities it seems too.

It probably comes from the fact that the Bluetooth frequency were used by the military not so long ago...
Nowadays, you can disregard it without problems...
As for the rest of the comments, well, "no comments" !   Georgia On My Mind...
