Not sure if design fault as never had it before on other cars
In December had reduced power issue. LR fixed turbo hose as mice had chewed thru it. All done under warranty 
Car went in for first service today. Advisory note. Mice chewed hose again. Not quite thru all the way but LR sending me a quote to replace
Am I going to get this every 4 months?
Any ideas how to stop the little b  doing this ? D4 HSE - Aintree Green

I put a small tray of poisoned rat feed on top of the engine, next morning the tray was empty.
Never had the problem again.

With 4 dogs a cat would make life hell
We have rat poison all over the loft, b still run around
There is bate outside as well but guess not in the run to my car
I'll give anything a go tho
Saw one on the rockery this evening, just stared at me
Suggested to SWMBO that I sit in my rocking chair on the patio with my 12 gauge poised with a glass of whisky. She didn't think that was a good plan

My neighbour had mice venturing into the house. An elderly friend told her to put chocolate in the rockery (about 15 ft from the back door) and she hasn't been bothered since. I'm guessing she has to keep them topped up with a regular supply but must be cheaper than LR parts. 2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT

A couple of years ago the little broke into the boot of my "Cobra" and gnawed several holes in the hood  . Oh and one seat belt.
Also broke into the bird peanuts by gnawing a hole through the plastic lid then transporting several kilos of said nuts into the boot.
Now my cars are surrounded by a wall of steel (10 traps) and numerous piles of poison.
Having said that I noticed that two days ago they broke into the greenhouse and either ate dozens of seedlings or seeds themselves. Set several traps down and yesterday caught the fattest super harvest mouse ever. When it gets light I will see if I have caught any more of the little !!!!!

We get an invasion of meece each year when the crops are cut. Traps get filled and have to be emptied and reset. However, I now have two high tech bleepers which seem to keep mice away from the garage. I bought two from Amazon UK so I am hoping that the seat of my ride on mower will not be reduced to little black shreds. Installed them two months ago and so far so good.

I feel your pain with this one. I've had mice chew holes in the bonnet sound deadening on my RS2000 & I've had one eat foam in my Focus ST's engine bay. It's a total nightmare trying to stop them. I put pots of poison on the rocker covers of both cars....but I have to remember to move them before driving off.  2005 D3 TDV6 SE Manual

I have a cat that gets fed only dry cat food, she doesn't like dry cat food.
As a result the only mice I ever have anywhere near the house are the remains of her supplementing her diet.
Definitely the way forward 
... and her and Dexter "accomodate" each other's existence which is good - a few swipes and he soon realised she's best not messed with MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Mice return to invade the shed and garage as seen them on CCTV. Appeared they were residing at the bottom of the back garden and would wonder under the side door of the garage. So set the traps and caught 3 mice so far this week as last year they had a meal of the disco 3 engine cover and injector accoustic shield. Not caught anymore mice so far so hopefully that's the end of the mice.
