I remember red and blue being popular. Then for years blue was referred to as "doom blue" as it was such a hard colour to sell on a used car. Fashions come and go, but when a colour has a long run of popularity such as white and silver before, it can very quickly go out of fashion. IMO, that may well be about to happen with white.
White is certainly a bold statement on such a large vehicle, if you like it go for it. I think it looks good on a D4/5, provided there's lots of black to break it up. Such as black air vents, wheel arches, door handles etc. There's some nice ones on here. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I can't look at a white D5 without thinking Explorer. I spend a lot of time in the US and white seems to be the colour of choice. Everyone I have hired has been white.
