Black keyless door handles

Can keyless door handles be painted black by a bodyshop? Would like to do a “DIY black pack” effort by painting the grille, side vents, badges and ideally door handles to tie the whole look together. MY10 D4 XS / Stornoway Grey / Black Leather / Xenons & Signature LEDs / Privacy Glass / Reverse Cam / Timed Climate / 4x4 Info / Multi Height Towbar

I think they unclip/slide off although you may break clips. There are sellers (eg Powerful UK) that provide new ones in the body colour you're after (black). May be worth checking out their website as it may be cheaper than getting your sprayed. PAGODA

Not long got replacement caps in black gloss for my door handles and mirror caps as part of my DIY black pack conversation of my D4 - they weren’t that expensive and easy to swap over Current:

Yes but is it ok to paint them when every handle has a little circle for the keyless entry? Same as this

Just get the bodyshop to mask off around the keyless sensor?

Any handy guides for taking them off? 😁

Yes you can paint them, but it would probably cost a lot more than taking them off and replacing them with new covers in black. Youtube has videos on removing them. I think powerful UK actually do one for their handles. Google them. PAGODA

Yeah painted mine black no problems.

I did originally want the black replacements from Powerful Uk at the time but were out of stock for months so purchased their reduced in price red handles and painted them to save inconvenience at the time Thumbs Up D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo
D3 HSE MY06 missing her still…

Easy and cheap swap over - they also sell replacement keyless buttons if any of yours are damaged.
