Discovery's have pretty good big fuel filters - it would take a huge amount of dirty fuel to get through one.
My D3 has done a lot of miles in Spain and when I drain the filter at a service I collect the fuel to check it and its always clean no particles or water.

Enjoy Spain I have only been there once in June and the heat was just too much.
These days I go mid-October till mid-March to escape the Scottish winter!

If you need any advice regarding Spanish campsites drop me a PM.

Segovia - this winter it was totally snowed in with people skiing down the streets!

Cheers and good luck

Dave
I was in the main LR dealers in Segovia last summer, engine management light, they fixed it.

Hi Kajtzu

I think this could become a novel rather than just 3 posts Shocked . The sun is shinning here but it’s still a little chilly when the sun goes down.

The car was Bonatti Grey for about two days, now its covered in a fine layer of orange sand dust. Laughing

At this moment we are in Spain, the engine management light has come ,its the yellow engine which I believe is the exhaust and emisions light. Its not blinking and according to the book is an advisary and I can drive the car.Question is will I be ok to continue our holiday? we are towing a big caravan and anticipate to drive around 2000 miles.Any advice appreciated.
I had the same problem with my 2016 d4, also towing a heavy caravan, after 400 miles light still on, arrived back in the UK ,booked car into dealers, on the way to dealers light went off ,I believe that due to towing and engine running at low revs this was causing exhaust filter to become blocked , after running at higher revs it cleared it self. When I am towing now I use sport mode for a while to ensure higher revs. Hope this is of some help.
