Big discount -'Traction mats' to get out of snow, sand e.t.c
Handy bit of kit, cheap as chips, fold up nicely, handy for the time when you may need that little bit of extra help in Snow, Sand, Slippy Grass e.t.c.

Tip for using them just like waffle boards and sandmats, Tie on a piece of strong string/light rope to the front edge of each one and then the other end to your towbar. That way when you are out you can safely drive on until safe to stop without fear of getting stuck again and remove them easily

I use an ex-army sleeping mat for when I need extra traction. They aren't as shiny as the civvie version and are much more substantial. I once used one to get a Scammell Commander tank transporter moving. It had a Chieftain on the back so it was an all up weight of about 80 tons. If it helps one of those to get going then a Disco will be no bother. They are also very comfortable for sleeping on as well. 2015 Discovery 4 HSE Corris with Blackpack

Any links to one of these so I know what I'm looking for? Sounds like a handy item!!
I picked some of these up as I have a steep, boggy section of the garden that sometimes catches me out on the Husqy lawn tractor. Suffice to say they are for comedy value only...... especially when I nearly killed a duck after the tractor spat the tracks out at a rate of knots.
Oh, and Asda were selling them for under a tenner last winter I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I'm still using the one I was issued but they are for sale on Ebay. Here's a link to one. I'm not selling it or one similar and I have nothing to do with the seller.
