BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM/2 fitted today 245 70 17

Hi, well the title sums it all up so not much to add

6 of those babies, ready for testing.

I will drive 1400 Km on the road this week end to go to Barcelona at the "Les Comes" terrain for the Land Rover Party !

So quite a few tracks to test them on there.

Back to you in a few days with more info

What about you all, anyone else driving with these ?

Cheers

They look fairly chunky - does it fit under the back end???

Nice alloys, too. Thumbs Up

That is the reason I kept the standard(ish) size, so they still fit in the original spot as i dont want a long range tank anyway.

chunky indeed, more than previous MUDs from BF, but as good in the mud and better rock crawling, possibly in sand too.

quite silent on the road for a M/T tyre too

more on all this in a few days

cheers

Just checked on the price, don't think we will be putting these in stock till the price comes down a lot, BFGoodrich need to wake up a lot as the fitted price would be £144.95 plus VAT, we are only keeping the 265/75x16 size in stock and I am not a big fan of the KM2 at present.

Andy.

I know a guy in southern Spain who's just fitted a set of these and they look very good.

Yep - over 60km of tracks on a huge private estate (that is also home to the only LRE centre in Spain/Portugal), most of them 'modified' to provide some very decent off-road obstacles and situations.

It has been raining a lot here of the last few days, so we could even see a fair few of the 'black' tracks closed Sad

I'll see you on Saturday Whistle By the way - what will you be wearing? The black grille or the gold grille? Laughing

Sorry to learn about your past experience, was the Defender stuck on top of a dune and the D3 pull backward? that happens with defenders... Rolling Eyes

real question is : who will get us both out of the sand once we've stucked each other ! Rolling with laughter

by the way, is our 3rd mousquetaires "in" or "not yet in" ?

Good looking tyres these KM2's, Andy, why are you not a fan? Are they not performing as well as the original BFG MT??

I just shod my D1 with some 265/75/16 Insa turbo 'Traction Track' tyres, a replica of the BFG TracEdge, they look bloody awesome, am sure they will perform in the rough too and cheap as chips Smile

that is lame : using Computer Generated imaging to let us belive a D3 could get stuff... then saved by a Defenwhat ?
C'mon, be realistic !

ahah, anyway, this is exactly why i travel as light as possible : no roof rack oand tent and what not.
