Best Way To Polish Mantec

Here goes !!!!,ready for the inevitable pi55 taking Rolling with laughter

I'm so bored or I have developed OCD !!!,after polishig my Aluminium centre grill with Autosol,I've now taken off my Mantec plate & attempted to do the same Embarassed .Just can't get enough pressure doing it by hand Rolling with laughter ,so can anybody recommend a drill attachment,

Following on from the info on the other earlier thread - what you are now polishing IS a big sheet of aluminium.
 A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

why do you want to polish it - its supposed to be there to take the bashes and bangs so gets gouged anyway..

have you tryed sanding it down with fine wet and dry sandpaper first then polishing it

If you have a belt sander, just get a fine grade metal sandpaper (or whatever the technical term is nowadays) and give it a quick whizz over. Although even if you polish it, it will stil oxidise unless you do it regularly. Can't see you being that bored for that long! Laughing

The Ally will oxidise so once you start you cannot stop.

Personally- providing it just need a polish- I would try something like 3m Fast Cut Plus with a wool or orange foam machine mop, then a ultra fine renovator and top polish.

I am sure some of the detailing chaps will know more.
