Best way to get rid of oil down the side of oil filter d3

Hi all i done a oil service on my d3 and ended up cracking the oil filter housing i didnt realize untill i drove it and parked it up on my drive ' oil every where a lot went down the side of oil filter housing which i cant get to ive cleaned up best i can and jet washed just dint want any oil on my drive etc

No all seems fine its just right at bottom of round oil filter housing i just notice odd drip on drive where its obviously moving about ive had rags down there trying to soak up and someones said spray brake cleaner degreaser etc down there just want it all gone

Engine degreaser if your going to wash it off with hose, brake cleaner if you just want to spray it on nd leave it.

Hopefully you got the paper filter bit in correctly. If not it blocks the oil flow and bye bye engine. Sad

Yes mate put the paper filter in first and then the plastic cover over torqued up to 25nm
