When i bought my Volvo V70, it came with Jinyu tyres and i was sceptical to say the least.
Over the next 15,000 miles in all conditions i was impressed with them.
When the fronts wore down, i replaced again with Jinyu on a further 2 occassions.
They are a decent tyre manufacturer.

MOT is coming up and the tyres need changing. 255/60/R18.
What would anyone say is the best value tyre in terms of price and longevity? We don't off road but we do value 'value for money'.
Any suggestions?
Summer tires are Nokian R2 SUV and they’re meant for driving on normal roads (pattern is not meant for off-road). They’re quiet and seem to last. They’re purchased in 2017 and I’ve got roughly 25k km on them and 6 mm surface left. There is a nifty numbering system imprinted in the rubber so it’s easy to figure out how many mm of surface there is left just by looking.
As someone else mentioned a Volvo - I put brand new Continental PremiumContact 6 tires on ours last summer. They were really quiet and a pleasure to drive with in the rain.

I bet if you looked at most peoples older cars tyres you would see their wheels are dressed in far east tyres and as early D3s are heading for banger territory!
