Desperatley need advice on tyre size for 17 inch I was going to use 265/70/17 BFG but I here on the forum they rub allso they are 40 mm bigger which is way over factory spec Any body got 245 65 17 on and how do they look ( like biscuts or not)

I have Land Rover 17" wheels fitted with General Grabber AT2 265 / 65 / R17 tyres delighted with the road holding, traction, and haven't noticed any increase in noise over the noise of the Pirelli Zeros fitted from new.
I would love to have a higher aspect ratio 70 or 75, but believe that this is not practical.

 glad you are pleased with your 265/65/17s njss as i have just bought a set of the same at2s
and will be putting them on in place of my 18in wranglers tomorrow.
i was a bit unsurehow they would handle 
they sure look the part.
