Can I ask you knowledgeable lot ...?
I want a towbar for my D3 SE .. I won't be doing much towing, but when I do it could range from a caravan to a double wheeled trailor carrying a couple of tonne. I have read that the QR towbars are limited (and sometimes a problem) because of their fixed height.
Which type / make of towbar would you recommend please?
I need the twin electrics too - but I know that TLO can supply.
Many thanks
Rob

I had the LR QR towbar and since changed to a LR Full Height TB.
Benefits of the FH one is that I can change the height o suit what I am towing (and I also have a Sankey riser plate & hitch)
Downside is that it's about 10 minutes to remove it if you need to, but TBH I leave it on all the time now.
QR one as you say, is set at just the one height so may not be as stable if you are towing a variety of different things.

As for which Make, I'd stick with the LR one, there are plenty available on e-bay or on here from time to time. Electrics from Nick too Bodsys Brake Bible

The older type had a safety recall, so I would imagine you can get the plate replaced FOC at a dealer Bodsys Brake Bible
