Stay within 10% (either way) of the speed limit on main fast flowing roads where safe to do so..... good rule of thumb.
Cannot see the point of going over 80mph max on any motorway, and even then that should be for overtaking purposes only.
Worse still are those who go at 50mph on a motorway when there is no obvious reason to do so, in the fast lane.......! 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Hi
If you really want one then k40 or bell and or the new Pogo or road angel units with the laser and radar modules . but bear in mind if they were using laser then the only thing that works is the new parking sensor systems that work on 902 nano metres which funnily enough is the same frequency that a laser gun works on and it jams the signal.
Theres a new unit on the market that cant be detected by laser guns producing error codes and it detects all the new guns. We had word it was coming but I have had no release date.
The only problem with radar detectors is that if you are the first in the queue then you are caught as there would be no warning until its too late but if you were behind someone else further down the queue then it would pick up sporadic readings and alert you.
hope this helps
cheers

dont waste your money!
by the time it beeps you will have been nailed. If the copper is as good an aim as I am you will get busted!
tried most of the latest products as I have multiple points, including the latest steath technology. NB. If you get caught giving error messages to laser cameras whilst using your "blocker" I mean garage door opener, which you will, as they have a follow up car a few 1000 meters down the road, you face a much bigger prosecution for perversing the course of justice rather than 3 points
I find it easier in my LR3 than i do in my BMW 650 to hold onto my licence.!!!! ....................................................................................................

Hi
I think you are confusing the older laser jammersthese did cause error codes think it was code 044 this new one has been tested in the UK against all the new laser guns and nothing comes up on the screen.
These laser guns are not as fool proof as people would have you believe some of them have actually been banned in some states of the USA because of their sporadic readings and all the guns that are used in the UK are made in the states funny that isnt it.
cheers
