The Best
I hung around this forum for many weeks , whilst toying with the idea of bying a Disco 3 , and every time I read about someones problem or dificulty doubt started to creep in , and at one point ,I even visited a Mitsubishi showroom .
I'm glad that I didnt purchase the new L200 and that I went for the D3 . Ive owned a D3 for three days and I think its the best thing Ive ever bought .
If your lurking in the shadows of the forum and not sure what to do , go out an buy one . Its easy to get disolusioned by the content of this forum but go out and get one - you wont regret it .

Dito I have to agree with everything you said I was lurking in the background gathering info for my old man as it was a toss up between a shogun and a D3, he went to loacal dealers and test drove a D3 but couldn't find a new shogun in any local dealers, we were wondering why no dealer had any shoguns are they about to drop or change the model who knows but he is delighted in choicing a D3 and now await its arrival.1998 Isuzu Trooper 3.1DTi SWB Commercial *Fir Green (Mica)*
It's my parents not me who have a D4 SDV6 Landmark

Forums can easily scare-off people from buying a car. Apart for forums dedicated to after-market mods, there will always be a disproportionate number of posts regarding problems. Why else would we be drawn to the keyboard?
I’ve not regretted my D3 purchase either. The D3 is slightly unusual given its almost total reliance on computers. Some would say that that is its Achilles heel. The up side to this is that your car can be kept current to the latest standard. My car is a March 05, but has all the updates that make it work, drive and perform as if it was brand new off-the-line car. After a mammoth session hooked up to a computer I now feel like I have a brand new car again – and the grin returns.

excellent choice
I too have recently bought a new D3. Reading this forum could potentially scare you off, especially as these are not exactly cheap vehicles
This is the best all round car I have ever owned, yes I've had a couple of problems but a month on I still find myself peeking out of the window just to look at it, smoother ride than my mates RR vogue too HA HA'06 D3 HSE

The D3
This forum actually made my mind up for me. It is a great source of information regarding this vehicle. I couldn't be happier with mine - except I am a bit in the dark as to how to clean the leather seats. What's the best thing to do (apart from seat covers which kind of defeat the object).06 Bonatti Grey HSE, Ebony Interior with Privacy Glass & Rubbing Strips.

No chance Slimer! A Mr Fivash, he says he can buy a top of the range Shogun and have all the toys on it for the same as his base 7 seater. No TR, no TDV6. How many more toys do you want? Please convince him to do the right thing DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
