Hi guys
just purchased a new 950 amp landrover battery from my local dealer as TLO can not ship them , now the battery that was replaced was not a genuine one and had no battery vent pipe ,apparently not req as banner confirmed when i rang them . now the question i am asking is do the new lr batterys req a vent pipe and if so what could i use as there does'nt appear to be a part number for said pipe

Yep,
my new LR battery has hole for said pipe, afraid i cant help with a part number etc, i already had one fitted and simply replaced it in hole when i swapped out the battery!

Most if not all batteries will have a hole in the end for the vent pipe to be fitted.
Only becomes essential if the battery starts gassing.

I have got trillions of the plastic elbows the plastic pipe would go onto if you want me to pop one in the post for you ?
