Battery Drain on Disco 3

Hi All,

I have a disco 3 2005 2.7td SE which I have had for 3 years.

I read Robbes post with interest.
http://www.disco4.com/forum/post1366423.html#1366423

I found a drain of 700 ma before sleep was induced. A reduction of 150 ma drain (down to 550 ma)was produced when removing either internal fuse 54 or fuse 46. These both refer to the electric seat control. Actuating the passenger seat controls (which didnt kick in as the ignition key was removed) added another 50ma to the total. Is this problem one? Surely thats not normal?

I have a drain of 390 ma once the LR3 is asleep. Having removed under bonnet fuse no. F26 Ihave discovered that the suspension is draining 160 ma continually!! (so reduced to 260 ma when removed).
I also have a suspension error reported. This may well be a tempertaure sensor as one of the reported errors is that "the suspension will reach height when the temperature has cooled" if I select the high setting.

I cant get top any more fuses without dismantling further than I am comfortable with.

So I would appreciate some help if possible with the follwoing questions.
1. Is the passenger seat drain an issue?
2. Is the compressor U/S?
3. Is there someone that I can trust that I can take my poorly disco to? I cant PM yet as I dont have sufficient posts! (I'm based in north Derbyshire)

Thanks for your help

Regards

James
