Hey ELD70, great diagram, thanks. Saves the head-cranked-upside-down way of trying to reverse engineer the plug wiring diagrams to figure out which wire is which...!
Thanks ____

I'm not sure about other chargers but the CTEK's XS7000 instructions do state that if you select the recondition mode the battery must be disconnected from the car. Club Exped trailer

Thank's for information, the battery is on charge right now. However, it is five years old now, so it is perhaps nearing the end of its life.
It is surprising all the useful information that resulted from a very basic question. Thank you ELD70 for the photo and wiring diagram. *Disco3 7-seat Auto

Ent,
I've just reconditioned my battery with a 7000 and the battery connected!
Nothing bad to report so far.
Think I binned the instructions along with the box it came in - I usually do

similar issues regards messages comin up if I kept me lights in with trailer attached and not running, turns out to be an alternator pulley and not the alternator nor battery...... thought I'd share that with yer before yer run out and get a new battery or alternator.
Done today, lights very bright again, can see in the dark, yeppee
