Battery
Good morning my battery as been giving me a low voltage warning for a while it’s under warranty but euro—-parts won’t admit it’s faulty even if though they charged the battery and it came up with good battery recharge so I have been looking at Tanya batteries and it gives me a few options recommendations would be appreciated merry Christmas all

Tayna do seem to be reputable but I have never heard the result of anyone returning a faulty battery and whilst they may be cheaper than Halfords I don't think you can beat their no quibble 5 year replacement guarantee.
Bosch offer a 5 year guarantee on some of their batteries but in my experience if a battery fails after 3 years for example they only offer the value of the remaining full years against a new battery It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

It should not say ‘good battery RECHARGE’, straight after them charging it. Go back and tell them they are talking D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

The battery "test" procedure and the equipment that performs it is .
Not my words! This was the opinion of the RAC guy who attended my Navara.
He basically said, once they fail to start the car they are finished. "They will continue to pass all the testing and yet I'll be out to you again tomorrow and the next day."
He then turned everything on in the car (AC, heated everything, lights ...all of it) and reperformed the test. It failed and he was then "allowed" to replace the battery under the warranty.
He said that for a battery to fail the test it has to be beyond bad, yet a battery that passes will still fail again and again until it is replaced no matter how many times you recharge it. In his experience it was better to force the battery to fail the test rather than have repeat call outs.
Easily done under warranty of course but you get the point....
Amazon beat Tayna for price when I replaced my battery..... even though it came from Tayna in their packaging!A mod a week until I have nothing to improve or add.

Early Dec and had my Yuasa battery fail after only two years and very little use.
(I reckon it was the constant trickle charge from the ctek that screwed it ….. but that’s another story.)
The battery was supplied and fitted by a local garage and when I went back they told me it only carried a years warranty.
So told them to stuff that and went to Halfords and got another Yuasa battery.
But this one is coming with a 5year warranty.
Btw, for those that change the D4 battery themselves, what do you do about the BMS?...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.

For reference, as it's not been mentioned:
The Halfords battery is 019AGM
850CCA 95Ah
Equiv. Yuasa YBX9019
850CCA 95Ah
Just bought the Halfords one and it was £148.80 with Trade card. (£186 without)
5 warranty, so keep the receipt in a safe place.
BMS reset with IID tool.
Service/Test > BCM Body Control > Battery Replacement.
General consensus is that the Halfords is made by Yuasa anyway.
