Hope you sort your self out soon Pete, but I would say that from my experience, your response time is really fast - so I'd hate to think what it's like when your in rude health - mist be replying before being asked Mark.

My sympathies Pete
I have had 2 spinal ops due to similar problems and can only endorse getting an MRI asap to determine the problem
Good Luck - and yes those damned injections are painful

Thank you all for your kind words and advise some of which ill defenetly be looking into, its nice to know in a weird sort of way that im not alone.
As said by a few the pain is one of those pains you just cant explain in words until you talk about it to someone else who has had the same problem.
Ive spoken to people in the past that said they have had bad back pain and siatica and i thought they were just making up how pain full it was. OHHH how wrong was I as i didnt know any better until i got the same pian my self which gradually got worse and worse weirdly.
Im feeling a little better now i have at last got the pain under control with a wild concoction of 2xTramadol, 3xGabapentin 5xAmitriptyline, 2xParacetamol, 1xIbuprofen 600mg's 4 times a day along with Oramorph (morphine) inbetween pill sessions Ill end up rattelling the amount of pills im taking but im mobile more now and in good spirit.
Im just pushing the best i can for an MRI date now which seems to be the hardest thing to get a decent answer to. tipically after the L5 nerve injection they didnt want to see me back at the pain clinic again for 3 months which i think is totaly ridiculas. I may end up just paying private if the NHS dont come true soon as i cant keep popping pills like this.
@ENT yup chippy it is then, my shout See you Friday and bring me some presents lol

Sorry to hear that Pete. My wife suffers from a similar condition - hope your give your other half an easier time than she gives me!
Get some of those massive pain killer tablets that look like the sort a vet might give a horse. They work for her. Dec 04 TDV6 HSE in Tonga green with Alpaca interior.
