Bas&a*d Rattle

Just picked up a 2010 D4 and driven home.

On the way it developed a very irritating rattle Evil or Very Mad which is driving me mad.

I think that it's coming from inside a panel at the rear behind where the tools/jack is stored.

Any ideas?

Is the fuelflap lock/release working? If not, it could be the it was manually released and the previous owners not reconnected it so it's rattling. Failing that, it in warranty, throw it back at the dealer to fix it.

Yeah, had to fill it up about 5 mins after picking it up.

It seems that the 3p of diesel the dealer put in it won't last too long.

Will certainly be back to the dealer but just wondered if it was a common problem.

I had a bit of a rattle from the rear & thought it was from the load area.

But then noticed it would rattle when closing the rear doors.

So ended up whacking the rear seats and traced it to a clip that secures the adjustment of one of the rear headrests .... now sorted.

Worth trying that out Thumbs Up I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
