So this has gone very quiet...including the updates to the list confirming payment...
hasn't the silly-season finished so we can get back to normal...?  The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

I'm with Neil at the moment and we are discussing options for the event. Neil is still banned and hasn't been given any idea of when he will be allowed back, despite apologising to Martin. In addition to the email he has sent to try and resolve the situation he has also phoned Martin, who put the phone down on him. So despite Neil’s best efforts the event is in the air. I think it should be remembered that this is an internet forum about cars and not exactly life and death!
I am have said to Neil that I am happy to take the lead on this event while he is banned. Not sure if this is the best option at the moment. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

I would like to confirm that this event is still going ahead having discussed this briefly with Neil today.
Not sure yet who is going to act as go between - hopefully this will be confirmed shortly

I think the plan is that I take point on this and deal with all the admin and info going to forum members etc. i.e. post info etc. as Neil can't.
The event is still going to go ahead.
Martin can you change me to the organiser so that I can easily PM everyone going on the event etc?

If (as I hope it will) the event goes ahead, will those of us that are going need to apply for a visiting order to see Neil? Will he be allowed to talk to us or will he have to sit in the corner?

You shouldn't need a visiting order as this is something that Neil has organised for the benefit of forum members but there doesn't seem to be an official "Disco3" event so therefore he can't be banned from an event only from the forum. Martin will no doubt correct me if this is wrong.
It amazes me that he's still banned. I have no idea why Gary is still banned, must be by asociation, which is a worry for me!  D3 HSE MY05 Auto
