If you are staying at Pont Kemys you could do worse than eating at The Foxhunter in
Nantyderry NP7 9DN - Matt the TV celebrity chef has left but I am told the pub & food are still excellent.
The Black Bear at Bettws Newydd NP15 1JN is also worth a visit.
Both are, of course within easy walking distance.
