Hi,
I had some Comfoser AT tyres fitted before Xmas and I have vibration at 50 and 70 mph. I've tried 2 places who say they can't (be bothered) balance them. I'm now thinking balance beads may be the answer and wondered if anyone on here had experience with them. I've found a brand tgat seem to have a good record in the US, they're twice the price of other brands but worth the extra if they work. Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

I can't help regarding the beads but if you are a Costco member they will balance wheels for £8.40 each including fitting and Vat.
If you want them taken off and refitted you will probably need an appointment. They might do wheels taken in off the vehicle while you wait but the price is the same.

What tyres and what wheels? And who have you asked to balance them? Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

They're Comfoser AT Tyres on 18" Terrafirma steel wheels. The wheels were fine with my old tyres on, so don't think they're the issue. The garage that fitted them, back street outfit, and a tyre Fitter in the village who has 3 tyre shops locally. Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

I used to always use beads in my old defender they are great never had any issues just get the right size bag for the wheel size. I have 35 inch mud tyres which never balanced until I used the beads www.pcsupportservicez.co.uk
