I guess you could do. Would be more obvious if it were to lose air I s'pose. I left mine in normal. Found out mine was the valve block in the end though 1995 Discovery 1 300TDI

Lost overnight 4.5cm nsf 1.5cm nsr 2.0cm osf and 0.5cm osr. Is that conclusive to nsf bag failure?
Also thinking while its on the ramp, may as well do both rather than just the one? 05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

It's normally the seals in the valve blocks that leak and cause a drop overnite
I would have thought an airbag failure would be major ?
I would clean out the valve bodies first, and replace the seals (£17 off ebay for kit) if this hasn't been done. At least it will be one less job to do in the future.
Also apply soapy water around the joints looking for leaks

It's best to replace both struts at the same time yes.
Have you tried soapy water around the joints? 1995 Discovery 1 300TDI

No, but for the price of the bags I'm just going to take the punt. Plus with 140k on them, I am sure they will be tired. 05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

Well it turned out my punt was wrong so there will be some perfectly good front bags going in the for sale section.
Now my attention turns to the pipe work, anyone know of any common leaking areas on the NSF area? 05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

Be aware, Just because you had a new valve 6 months ago, I wouldn't rule it out..
Get some soapy water in a spray bottle and go to work. I suppose you can do the pipework and connectors at the same time.. Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black
