Back in the saddle

Well after 7 months of no driving I managed to get behind my D3 for a week. Forgot just how good it is, still driving like a dream after 4 years and plenty off off roading. The bull bar does no look the same though, the army boys certainly sent the old Roo off in style. Still the son in law is looking after it for me pretty well.
Did see another Silver D3 with bullbar and spare wheel carrier in the roundabout at Durack. Gave the guy a wave but he had his hands full with his phone.

Looks like next time I head back there will be another addition to the vehicle. A baby seat is being fitted by the daughter to accommodate the grand daughter of 2 weeks. This is one addition that I wont get questioned on by the wife Very Happy
Take the road less traveled. Dual battery system.ORS drawers,LR cargo Barrier.ARB Bull bar, side protection bars,Mickey Thompson ATR's 17" rims, Rear wheel carrier, radiator guard TPMS Mitchell Bros Tow Hitch LR RAI Steel Rims , GME UHF, Off Road GPS, Llams (yet to be fitted)

Hi Wayne,
Again, congratulations grandpa! Thumbs Up

Maybe you will need a D4 by the time you get back - I think the Darwin natives might have squatter's rights on your D3! Whistle Rolling with laughter

See you next month - I am so looking forward to it! Thumbs Up

Cheers,
Rob
