Hi Baben
How will the TorqTune compare with Pete's mapping? Can owners of Faultmate load map?
Regards
Henk

On the D4 it's not so simple - ECU needs to come out but the results are spectacular

Any figures yet?
BTW Is the torquetune detectable by the dealers since I assume the warranty/motorplan is in jeopardy if it is torquetuned?

+50bhp D4 - depends on so many variables that actual results will vary. 0-100 time should be improved by about 1sec, but the real improvement is driveability, etc
I have no idea, but probably not. The remap in the D3 is not detectable. That said, if this worries you, then you shouldn't be messing about with your disco

Thanx Anthony. suppose the torque also goes up on the D4(Even though more will be insane I think).

Torque will go up a whole lot.
More torque = less gearchanges = more relaxed driving = lower fuel consumption
unless you drive like a nutter

The easiest would be for you to hit the "search" button and enter "faultmate"

I did but couldn't find something specific that says what it is and what it does?

Hi Baben
can you please give some advise, I am running a Disco1 Tdi ES 1998 and a 2005 Disco3 TDV6 "S".
I am currently looking at obtaining a fault finding computer. Currently I am looking at the Faultmate and at the Hawkeye. Ideally it should work for both the Tdi' ABS stuff and the full range on the TDV6.
Would appreciate some feedback.
Thanks

Hello George
I know the Disco3 is covered, and you are welcome to pop past and play with the Faultmate and see what it does. The Disco1 is another story completely. Please PM BBSSPY or go onto the Blackbox-solutions.com website and have a look around.
